I particularly agree with Cliff's describing it as jazzy. I listened to this show for the first time a few months back, and if I'm remembering the right show, I was struck by how the jazzy style of PitB carried over into other jams later on. 72-74 is when their jams most remind me of Bitches Brew (better, IMO), but this show more than some others in the same period.
